Snow Dogs
Wintertime, darkness envelopes most of Sweden, especially the far north where daylight hours are few. Marie Israelsson and her team of 16 huskies are forced to practice daily in the darkness. Tough training has paid off. Together they have become one of the top teams in the world aiming for a gold medal in future World Sleddog Championships. They live in a tiny village west of Sundsvall and practice on the lake, next to their house, that freezes over every year.
