Henpower is a project originated in Great Britain. It aims to enrich life for elderly with dementia and depression. Now it is applied at elderly homes all around the world.

It started with a chicken coop built at an elderly home in northern Great Britain. The elderly took care of the hens and also travelled to schools to interact with children and teach them about hens.The most active hen keepers were named Hensioners. Sadly, many of the Hensioners in this story have since passed away but their legacy lives on in many locatations around the globe.
